Operation - Your Matrix Air system incorporates a three stage filtration system. Air is drawn from the house and is purified as it passes through the filters ans is then reintroduced back into your home. The optional UV germicidal light helps aid in the removal of the airborne population of viruses, mold and bacteria in your home. For optimal air purification your system should run 24/7. If not unit should at least cycle when the heating/cooling system calls for heating or cooling.

Installation - The Matrix Air WH-10 whole house air purification system is designed to be installed with a minimum 9'6 duct to the accommodating return duct. Transitions from the air cleaner to the duct system are supplied by the installing contractor.

Electrical - The Matrix Air purification system is designed to be wired to a 120 VAC power source that is interlocked with the HVAC system blower. Wiring connections are located in the 4x4 speed control and junction box. All wiring shall meet local codes.

Start-Up - Install filter back into the air clean and check direction of flow. Set speed control to full speed, check that both the HVAC blower and the air cleaner blower are operating together.

Balancing - At initial start-up, the system should be run with the filters removed and the air cleaner blower off. Take a total return CFM reading with the HVAC blower running. Install filters, close access door, and turn on the air cleaner blower and adjust speed control until you are +/- 10% of the initial CFM reading with both blowers running.

Installation - The Matrix Air SED systems whole house air purification systems are designed to be installed as a independent self ducted system for residence and small commercial buildings with baseboard hot water or radiant heat. Mounting is joist or wall (specify at time of order). For optimal air quality it is recommended that a supply air diffuser be located in every room of the home. At minimum there should be at least one supply and one return per floor. This illustration is for graphical purposes only, actual installation will vary based on actual floor plan. Note - duct work size shall be based on a maximum velocity of 800 feet per minute.

Electrical - The Matrix Air WH-15 whole house purification system has a 2 speed control switch and a 3 prong cord that will plug into a 120 VAC power duplex outlet.
